Facing Our Fascist State

This short book will be published around one year after the horrors of September 11, 2001 struck the United States. The attacks of that day – American Airlines Flight 11 and United Airlines 175 crashing into Towers of the World Trade Center, American Airlines 77 apparently driving into the Pentagon, and United Airlines 193 disintegrating in western Pennsylvania – have been called “ ‘The Crime of the Century.’ ”

Government officials and Corporate media – whose word, we’ll see, is often one and the same, forming a kind of Corporate Government – at once compared last September 11’s attacks to those on Pearl Harbor, the “ ‘Day of Infamy’ ” that launched the U.S. into World War II. According to his Press Secretary, Andrew Card, President George Walker Bush said in Florida that morning, responding to news of the second airliner’s crash into the World Trade Center’s South Tower: ‘ “We’re at war.” ’

What’s happened since then? The events of “ ‘9/11’ ” have led to slaughter of more thousands of innocent people outside the United States and to drastic cuts of civil liberties within this nation.

The “ ‘War on Terror’ ” has thus furthered control of populations and resources by an unelected and intimately related elite. These few appear to care more for oil and gas and profits than they do for people. Their methods-and their history, we’ll soon see-are aligned with fascism of the 1930s’ “ ‘Corporate State.’ ”

What I hope to show you first in this book are facts and likelihoods that disprove the fundamental stories told by Government officials and Corporate media about “ ‘9/11.’ ”

Almost one year after that day, no Fortune-500 Network or publication has done anything like a thorough investigation of its events. Corporate media’s neglect or cover-up is more extensive than that which protected “ ‘the Magic Bullet Theory’ ” after the assassination of JFK.

The only skeptical investigators and true journalists toward “ ‘9/11’ ” have been independent and Internet-distributed. I’ve drawn from many of their websites. Please keyword, if you can, Michael C. Ruppert and the From The Wilderness site, Michel Chossudovsky and the Global Research site, Jared Israel and the Emperors Clothes site, Brian Salter and the questionsquestions site, Catherine Austin Fitts and the Solari site, Larry Chin and Bev Conover and the Online Journal site, Kellia Ramares, Bonnie Faulker and the Rise4News site, Robert Lederman and Baltech.org, David McGowan and the davesweb site, the Serendipity and Rense.com sites, Carol A. Valentine and the Public Action site, Michael Rivero and the whatreallyhappened site.

A few of these sites have prejudices that I think are ungrounded, but all have crucial information that’s yet to be touched by Time, Newsweek, NBC, et cetera.

To me, three key facts expose the likelihood that far more than “ ‘Arab terrorists’ ” were involved in the plot which carried out“ ‘9/11.’”

FACT #1. All of the airliners that crashed on September 11 could not have completed their courses without interception by U.S. military aircraft IF officials at the Federal Aviation Agency (the FAA) or North American Aerospace Command (NORAD) or the National Military Command Center (the NMCC) had followed their own Rules and ordinary procedures of response to a flight that should be engaged as an “emergency.”

If the FAA had responded as promptly on 9/11/01 as it did on 10/25/99, when an F-16 fighter-jet from Eglin Air Force Base in Florida intercepted within 19 minutes the six-passenger Learjet that was carrying golfer Payne Stewart, the World Trade Center’s Twin Towers and the Pentagon would have been protected.

FACT #2. At least one of the Flights that crashed on 9/11, that which struck the Pentagon, American Airlines 77, could not have been flown by the young Arab, Hami Hanjour, whom Government officials and Corporate Media still identify as its pilot.

Most probably, we’ll see, none of the other Arabs who are supposed to be pilots of the other hijacked airliners on 9/11 flew those planes. More probably, we’ll see, these jets were flown by remote control through technologies developed by the U.S. Government, technologies named Home Run or Global Hawk.

FACT #3. The 110-story North and South Towers and the 47-story Building 7 of the World Trade Center could nothave fallen due to the causes that Government officials and Corporate media stories have presented for their “ ‘pancake’ ” collapse.

Neither jet fuel’s fire nor anything else that was in the Towers that morning burns hot enough (1,022 degrees Fahrenheit), we’ll see, to deform steel.

Also, to not topple sideways, but to instead fall straight-down within their foundations, the 110-story Towers had to be imploded by explosives set off against their load-bearing columns and beams.

That is, we’ll see, the Towers and WTC 7, all owned by Silverstein Properties, had to be demolished.

“ ‘9/11’ ” was the mnemonically perfect pretext (9/ll synonymous with life-threatening emergency) for frightening and outraging people within this nation and for allowing U.S. Government officials to rush into place sweeping cuts to civil liberties.

We’ll soon see that the entire pretext for these officials’ acts and legitimacy is a lie – the “Big Lie” favored by totalitarian regimes.

We’ll see how “ ‘the War in Afghanistan’ ” has benefited the interests of major oil Corporations around the Caspian Sea. The Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan pipelines that these Corporations wanted before the ouster of the Taliban are now under way.

We’ll see how opium from that “ ‘War’ ” is likely to generate far more in immediate profits than oil will. Farmers in Afghanistan have raised a crop of 4,500 metric tons of opium this year, worth between $100-150 billion, after the Taliban removed poppy fields within their territory in 2000-2001.

We’ll see through former investment-banker Catherine Austin Fitts how such a crop of illegal narcotics will likely be worth $2 to $4 trillion – one trillion is one thousand times one billion – as its revenue is laundered through Banks, Stock Markets, and other financial institutions.

We’ll see how and why Banks need “smack” (heroin) as well as Crack. We’ll see long-time players behind the global crimes that affect our neighborhoods. We’ll see their many conspiracies. We’ll see the same families, a tiny but dominant ruling elite, profiting from the current “ ‘Endless War’ ” as profited from collaborating with Nazi Germany before and/or during World War II – the Rockefeller, Bush, Harriman, Dupont, Hearst, Ford, Warburg, ... families. We’ll see that many of these elite few’s rule dates from feudal times. Al Gore and George W. Bush are distant cousins, both descended from Charlemagne, Emperor of the Holy Roman Empire.

We’ll see how David Rockefeller’s drive built the WTC Towers that were destroyed 30 years after their completion for probably great profit due to insurance-moneys.

We’ll see how Zbignew Brzezinski (National Security Advisor to President Jimmy Carter and among the main strategists on the Trilateral Commission and the Council on Foreign Relations, both bodies funded by Rockefellers’ money) set forth reasons for the United States to dominate Central Asia in his 1997 book The Grand Chessboard.

Four years before “ ‘9/11’ ” Brzezinski wrote that the U.S. should command Central Asia to counter Russia and China and to maintain the rest of the world as its “vassals.”

Brzezinski wrote, too, that “the pursuit of power is not a goal that commands popular passion, except in conditions of a sudden threat or challenge to the public’s sense of domestic well-being.... Democracy is inimical to imperial mobilization.... The public supported America’s engagement in World War II largely because of the shock effect of the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor.”

About Pearl Harbor, we’ll see that the then U.S. President, FDR, had foreknowledge of that day’s infamy.

We’ll see, too, at close of this book, how short is the time we have to change our collective courses.

We’ll see systems of fraud, exploitation, and speculation collapsing (Enron, Worldcom) and teetering near collapse (Citigroup, J.P. Morgan, and the Chase Bank).

We’ll see that if we in the modern North go on as we are now, consuming times more than our share, we’ll need two other planets to live on no later than the year 2050.

Still, we’ll see hope. We’ll see hope in the hundreds unto millions unto billions around the Earth who reject our old lords’ would-be “ ‘New World Order.’ ”

We’ll see that we have the power to change everything through simple and direct choices. We’ll see that we can compel any turn we want through tactics we apply. We can use the power of protracted boycotts and other refusals. We’ll see that we can win back America – an America of Americas that honors numberless un-Americas worldwide, a world of limitless potentials and accomplishments – in the next and truly new revolutions.

By the way, you may be wondering what those double quotes (like, say, “ ‘Bluto did it’ ”) are supposed to mean. I mean them to represent the echo-effect of Government officials and Corporate media on public consciousness. The latter reinforces the former. The information thus repeated in our dominant media-scape makes up one big echo-chamber or mirror for Corporate Government. And so great masses of normal, intelligent, and compassionate people are grievously misled.
